Aerospace engineers develop and test aircraft and spacecraft.
Industrial engineers set up equipment, turbines, semiconductors, industrial
robot systems, structural, transportation, urban planning and ensure
emergency preparedness.
Mining engineers are involved in mining, geological silver, gold, iron and
ore.
Mechanical engineers test tools, engines and machinery.
Environmental engineers work with nuclear, wastewater treatment systems,
biohazards, acid rain, petroleum, emissions, recycling, environmental and
refrigeration.
The Accreditation Board for Engineers and Technology (ABET) accredits more
than 230 colleges. The Engineering Interns (EI) are in training.
Professional engineers are licensed. The Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) is
a basic designation gained through examination on the core components of
engineering.
